Mechanical Features and Fuel Economy

The EX, EX-L, and Touring models get a more powerful turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 174 horsepower and is mated to an upgraded CVT. Paddle shifters come standard on the Touring trim.
Both 2020 Honda Civic engines return outstanding fuel economy. The EX and EX-L are the stars with their EPA-rated 32 mpg city and 42 mpg highway. The LX equipped with the CVT and the Touring trim both get an EPA-estimated 30 mpg city/38 mpg highway.
