The LX starts on a high note with a stable of sought-after features. Among them are automatic on/off LED headlights, power side mirrors, 17-inch wheels, remote keyless entry, push-button ignition, automatic climate control (single-zone), a 7-inch driver information display, a tilt-and-telescopic steering column, and a 60/40-split folding rear seat. A 7-inch touchscreen controls the LX’s infotainment system, which comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, a four-speaker audio system, a hands-free text messaging assistant, and access to HondaLink remote vehicle services. Dual USB charging ports are provided in this trim as well.
This well-outfitted base trim is also set up with a series of advanced driving aids called Honda Sensing. This safety-enhancing technology suite contains forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, traffic sign recognition, road departure mitigation, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assist. On top of those, the LX gets automatic high beams, a rear-seat reminder, a rearview camera with dynamic guidelines, vehicle stability assist with traction control, anti-lock brakes, and a complete set of airbags.
The mid-tier Sport is visually distinct from the rest with its blacked-out exterior accents and black-finished 18-inch wheels. Plus, remote start, heated front seats, and heated side mirrors make cold weather more bearable. It also has rear privacy glass, proximity keyless entry, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. The Sport’s safety setup is enhanced beyond the features listed for the LX with the addition of blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. The infotainment system gains another pair of speakers.
The top-end HR-V is loaded with upscale amenities for convenience and a touch of luxury, along with an aesthetic upgrade with trim-specific 17-inch wheels. The highlights of these upgrades are a power moonroof, front and rear parking sensors, leather upholstery, two-zone automatic climate control, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a wireless phone charger, and ambient LED interior lighting. Not only that, but its richer multimedia system has a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an eight-speaker sound system, and SiriusXM satellite radio.
