The front-wheel-drive 2024 Civic Si’s a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine pumps out 200 horsepower and 192 pounds-feet of torque. It’s made expressly with a 6-speed manual transmission, with a rev-matching switch for less-experienced shifters. Also standard is a mode selector so that the driver can choose the power balance according to the moment’s situation, from Normal to Sport and even a customized Individual mode.
Even with its output increase over the regular Civic, the Civic Si is nicely fuel efficient, achieving an EPA-estimated 27 miles per gallon around town. When you let it loose on the open highway, you can expect it to get 37 mpg.
The Civic Si has bolstered front sport seats clad in a racy blend of black and red cloth, as are the back seats. It also gets sport pedals, a one-touch power sunroof, automatic climate control, dual USB ports, a front 12V power outlet, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an aluminum shift knob with leather, a 60/40-split folding rear seat with a center armrest, auto on/off LED headlights, Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto-Lock (proximity keyless entry), heated gloss-black power-adjustable side mirrors, dual chrome exhaust finishers, a gloss-black decklid spoiler, and 18-inch matte-black alloy wheels.
Honda offers some optional bundles as well, including the All-Season Protection Package (all-season floor mats, splash guards, and a trunk tray) and the All-Season Protection Package II (high-wall floor mats, wheel locks, and a deep cargo tray). The HPD Package will add style with unique badging and underbody spoilers in the front, sides, and rear. The Protection Package I furnishes chrome wheel locks, a trunk tray, and a splash guard set.
The Honda Sensing driver-assist technology is installed in the Civic Si, equipping it with lane keep assist, lane departure warning, traffic sign recognition, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control, forward automatic emergency braking, automatic high-beam headlights, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot monitoring. The rearview camera shows multiple angles and dynamic guidelines for additional confidence when you’re backing out of spaces.
The 2024 Honda Civic Si has everything it needs for infotainment and connectivity, thanks to an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, HD Radio, SiriusXM satellite radio, and SMS text messaging. The standard 160-watt sound system has 12 speakers and a subwoofer, plus speed-sensitive volume compensation.
