The 2025 Honda Accord Hybrid is made in trims called Sport Hybrid, EX-L Hybrid, Sport-L Hybrid, and Touring Hybrid. Their gas-electric powertrain combines a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with dual electric motors to produce 204 total horsepower. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) channels power to the front-wheel drivetrain. Most trims achieve EPA-estimated fuel economy of 46 mpg in city driving and 41 mpg on the highway, but the EX-L Hybrid performs even better, with enhanced efficiency at 51 mpg around town and 44 mpg on the open road.
The Sport Hybrid begins the range with attractive features such as wireless device charging, a power moonroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, a ten-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support, fabric upholstery, proximity keyless entry, push-button start, and LED exterior lighting with automatic headlights. Its additional equipment includes a 10.2-inch configurable driver information display, a 60/40-split folding rear seat, a self-opening trunk, rear A/C vents, four USB ports (two per row), and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. While the Sport Hybrid stands out stylistically with a gloss-black rear spoiler, gloss-black power side mirrors, and 19-inch alloy wheels, the EX-L Hybrid’s appearance is more understated (without the black accents) and gets more upscale features, including leather seating surfaces, a four-way power front passenger seat, a driver’s memory system, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and 17-inch alloys.
The Sport-L Hybrid merges the Sport’s athletic design cues with the EX-L’s interior refinements and adds a trim-specific rear diffuser. At the top of the range, the Touring Hybrid enhances the EX-L’s features with heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear outboard seats, a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, heated power side mirrors with reverse tilt-down capability, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Every 2025 Accord Hybrid has Honda Sensing installed for added driver confidence and safety. This advanced suite of the latest driver-aid technologies consists of forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, road departure mitigation, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, traffic jam assist, adaptive cruise control, a driver attention monitor, traffic sign recognition, and automatic high beams. Parking sensors are found on the EX-L and Touring; the Touring also has low-speed braking control. A rearview camera with dynamic guidelines is standard, as are a set of airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability control, and traction control.
Honda Accord Hybrid infotainment is built around a 12.3-inch touchscreen. Standard technology includes wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Bluetooth, Alexa Built-In, text message functionality, and access to a Wi-Fi hotspot and HondaLink connected services. The Touring exclusively offers Google Built-In, which incorporates Google Maps, Google Assistant, and other apps. Audio comes through a 180-watt, eight-speaker system in most trims, while the Touring features a premium 12-speaker Bose arrangement.
