Trims and Powertrain

The powertrain pairs a 150-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a continuously variable transmission (steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters are included). The EPA-estimated fuel economy figures depend on the trim: the LX achieves 32 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highway, while the Sport returns 31 mpg city/39 mpg highway. Both sedans are have a front-wheel drivetrain and dynamic drive mode settings that include Normal and Econ. The Sport adds a specific Sport Mode which decreases steering assistance and increases throttle responsiveness.

Standard Equipment

The LX has LED automatic on/off headlights, automatic climate control, a black cloth interior, a 7-inch driver information display, two USB ports in the front console, a 12-volt power outlet, LED daytime running lights, LED brakes and taillights, a security system with remote entry, power side-view mirrors, and 16-inch wheels with covers. The Sport upgrades to 18-inch gloss-black alloy wheels and adds heated power side-view mirrors with black mirror covers, a chrome exhaust finisher, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, sport pedals, and Smart Entry with Walk Away Auto Lock. Unlike the base LX, the Sport is eligible for Honda’s Urban Gray Pearl paint color.

Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology

The ‘25 Civic Sedan comes well-protected thanks to the Honda Sensing suite of driver-assistive technologies. Both trims are outfitted with auto high-beam headlights, forward collision warning, collision mitigation braking, adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, road departure mitigation, driver attention monitor, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, traffic sign recognition, and traffic jam assist. Also standard are a multi-angle rearview monitor with dynamic guidelines, anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, and a full complement of airbags.

Infotainment and Connectivity

Both trims have a 7-inch color touchscreen multimedia system with Bluetooth HandsFreeLink and streaming audio, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a radio data system, and access to the HondaLink app. The distinguishing feature is the sound system, as the LX comes with a 160-watt, four-speaker setup, while the Sport is upgraded to 180 watts and a total of eight speakers.
