As mentioned, the ‘25 Passport in available in three trim levels: EX-L, TrailSport, and Black Edition. Their 3.5-liter V6 engine makes 280 hp and 262 lb.-ft. of torque and is joined to a 9-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is standard. The Passport also proves to be a capable hauler, with a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds. As far as its fuel efficiency, the EPA has estimated that all three Passport trims achieve 19 mpg in city driving and 24 mpg on the highway.

The 2025 Passport comes loaded with the features that today’s drivers are looking for. With the EX-L, you’ll get proximity keyless entry, leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power-adjustable heated front seats, a moonroof, three zones of automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink, push-button ignition, a 60/40-split second-row seatback, four USB ports (one Type-A and three Type-C), a power tailgate, rear privacy glass, heated side mirrors with turn-signal indicators, LED headlights and taillights, and a noise-reducing windshield.

The rugged TrailSport is primed for adventure, adding an off-road suspension, knobby all-terrain tires, LED fog lights, power-folding side mirrors, roof rails, all-season floor mats, and a little orange attitude with both the interior contrast stitching and the ambient interior lighting coming in that hue. The Black Edition swaps in red for the interior contrast stitching and ambient interior lighting. It also builds on the EX-L’s standard equipment list by adding an all-black exterior, a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, heated rear outboard seats, a hands-free liftgate, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming side mirrors, rear-seat climate controls, and noise-reducing front side glass.

Advanced Safety Features

Honda Sensing, an excellent suite of active driving aids, comes standard on the ’25 Passport. This technology grouping consists of a collision mitigation braking system, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and automatic high beams. All trims also have a multi-angle rearview camera with dynamic guidelines for safe and easy backing out of parking spaces.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The standard infotainment system in the 2025 Passport centers around an 8-inch touchscreen for each trim. The standard multimedia features are Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, HD Radio, and Bluetooth for hands-free phone and audio streaming. Satellite-linked navigation and voice recognition are introduced at the TrailSport level. The two lower trims get a 7-speaker audio system, while the Black Edition moves up to a premium 10-speaker audio system. As the topmost trim, it’s further loaded with a Wi-Fi hotspot and HondaLink subscription services.
