The 2025 Prologue has three trim levels: EX, Touring, and Elite. The EX and Touring come standard with a single-motor front-wheel drivetrain (FWD), putting out 220 horsepower and 243 lb.-ft. of torque. The Elite adds a sport drive mode and comes standard with a dual-motor all-wheel drivetrain (AWD) – an optional upgrade for both lower trims – increasing horsepower output to 300 and torque to 355 lb.-ft. All trims have a towing capacity of 1,500 lb. regardless of drivetrain.
According to the EPA’s official estimations, the EX and Touring have a 308-mile range with FWD, which drops to 294 miles with AWD. The Elite’s range has risen from 273 to 283 miles this model year. As far as their efficiency ratings, the EX and Touring achieve 113 MPGe city and 94 MPGe highway in FWD and 108 MPGe city/90 MPGe highway in AWD, while the Elite returns 104 MPGe highway and 87 MPGe city.
The Prologue’s 85 kWh battery can be charged at a rate of 34.1 miles for every hour of plugged-in time using a 240-volt AC charger. With a DC fast charger, the Prologue can go from 20 to 80 percent charge capacity in just 35 minutes. The FWD EX and Touring can charge at a rate of 65 miles every 10 minutes, while the Elite accrues 63 miles of charge in 10 minutes (as do both lower trims with AWD).
The EX comes with fabric upholstery, heated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support, a six-way manually-adjustable front passenger seat, an 11-inch digital instrument cluster, automatic on/off LED headlights with automatic high beams, LED daytime running lights and turn signals, heated gloss-black side mirrors with integrated LED turn signals, dual-zone climate control, remote start, a universal garage door remote, wireless device charging, push-button start, two USB charging ports, two 12-volt outlets (one in front console, one in cargo area), a 110-volt outlet in the rear console, 60/40 split rear seats, and 19-inch alloy wheels.
The Touring adds leather-trimmed seats, a two-position memory driver’s seat, a six-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, a leather-trimmed steering wheel, illuminated instrument panel, a panoramic moonroof, a power tailgate, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, LED fog lights, roof rails, and welcome lighting with a rear kick sensor. The Elite is loaded with ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, a digital key card, a heated wiper zone, self-sealing tires on 21-inch alloy wheels, power-folding auto-dimming side-view mirrors with welcome lighting, a 110-volt outlet in the rear console, and illuminated footwells, beverage holders, and door panels.
All three trims receive the Honda Sensing driver-assist suite, containing forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-zone steering assist, side blind-zone alert, lane change alert, rear cross-traffic alert, rear cross-traffic braking, reverse automatic braking, and rear park assist. The two higher trims are upgraded with front and rear park assist, while the Elite alone adds rear pedestrian alert and a surround-vision system. Traffic sign recognition is available on all trims via the On-Star data package.
The focus of the ’25 Prologue’s dash is an 11.3-inch Google built-in touchscreen multimedia system with instant access to Google Assistant, Google Maps, and other commonly used apps. All trims get wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Bluetooth audio streaming, SiriusXM satellite radio, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and subscription access to HondaLink via OnStar. While the EX has an unbranded audio system with six speakers, the Touring and Elite get a 12-speaker Bose upgrade.
