2020 Honda Civic SI for Sale in West Springfield, MA
If you’re a fan of the 2020 Honda Civic’s design but find yourself craving a bit more flair, then the Si variant should be right up your alley. Not only is it more powerful than the “regular” Civic, it also has an aggressive exterior and a long list of standard features (consistent with the EX-L trim level – the second from the top – of the 2020 Civic Sedan). This fun four-door is aimed at folks who truly enjoy and appreciate driving, and as such, it’s only made with a stickshift. Differentiating it further from the regular sedan is its distinct appearance, marked by a body-colored spoiler, larger (18-inch) wheels, and unmistakable Si badging. Changes from 2019 include refreshed interior trim and improvements to the gearbox and suspension, which driving enthusiasts will notice. There’s also a hatchback version of the Civic Si, but this page will focus just on the sedan.
The performance-oriented (and head-turning) 2020 Honda Civic Si gets its pep from a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine. This performance-tuned powerplant coaxes extra boost pressure out of the turbocharger to yield 205 horsepower and 192 lb.-ft. of torque. Its powertrain mate is a six-speed manual transmission – there’s no option for automatic – which has had its final drive ratio shortened for more responsive acceleration. Unlike the traditional 2020 Honda Civic, the Si comes with a few more performance bits, such as a limited-slip differential, a sport-tuned suspension with adaptive dampers, and larger front brakes. This front-wheel-drive performance sedan takes premium fuel and returns an EPA-estimated 26 mpg around town and 36 mpg on the highway. Although there’s essentially just one trim level, for an upgrade of $200 Honda offers the Civic Si with summer tires instead of all-seasons and differentiates it as the Civic Si HPT.
Comfort and Convenience
Seeing as the 2020 Honda Civic Si takes after the second-highest trim level of the regular Civic Sedan, it’s packed with standard features. Some of the highlights are heated side mirrors, a sunroof, Smart Entry with Walk-Away Auto Lock, push-button ignition, dual-zone automatic climate control, textured aluminum pedals, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter knob, heated front seats, Si-branded sport seats, and LED headlights, taillights, and fog lights. There are also a few notable options packages to further deck out your 2020 Honda Civic Si, led by the Honda Factory Performance Package, which packs in front and side underbody spoilers, badges, 19-inch alloy wheels, and other attractive upgrades.
Driver-Assist Features and Technology
You’ll feel extra confident driving the 2020 Honda Civic Si thanks to the standard Honda Sensing active-safety technology suite. It consists of collision mitigation braking, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, forward collision warning, and lane departure warning. Also standard are automatic high beams and Honda LaneWatch, a special camera system that supplements the side mirrors and points towards the vehicle’s blind spot.
The 2020 Honda Civic Si comes with a nice selection of technology, such as a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, satellite and HD radio, Bluetooth hands-free and audio streaming, HomeLink (which is capable of controlling garage doors from inside the vehicle), two USB ports, and a premium 10-speaker audio system.
