Mechanical Details
The two trim levels for the strictly gasoline-burning ‘26 Civic Sedan are called LX and Sport. Their powertrain is a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable transmission and front-wheel drivetrain. This configuration makes 150 horsepower, and EPA-estimated fuel economy ratings of 32 mpg city/41 mpg highway for the LX and 31 city/39 highway for the Sport.
A drive mode selector is included to tailor performance response to specific on-road situations. The LX offers Normal and Econ settings, while the Sport adds a mode bearing the trim’s name. Steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters are exclusive to the Sport and allow for a more customizable driving experience with manual gear changes.
