Honda redesigned the Passport based on a "Born Wild" theme, to kick off the model’s fourth generation with extra readiness for adventure. This theme of higher capability is based on increased ground clearance, a shorter front overhang, and a wider track width, along with an additional 2.75 inches for the wheelbase. Honda also went to work re-engineering the TrailSport trims, making these versions the most off-road-capable Passports ever offered.
The Passport’s interior was also given ample attention with a new 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and updated advanced driver-assist technology. There’s also been an uptick in passenger comfort benefits from increased rear legroom, larger cargo capacity, and new body-stabilizing front seats designed to reduce fatigue on long drives. Storage solutions have been expanded to include a device-friendly center console and a multi-function tray sized for multiple smartphones.
